Metropolitan Housing are looking for a Senior Care and Support Worker paying £17,234 - £18,106 pa to work in Haringey, North London.

The successful candidate will work mostly from the office but will work alone across the borough of Hackney to provide support to vulnerable elderly clients in their own home handling a case load and acting as advocate.

You should demonstrate an ability to work alone and an understanding of the needs of vulnerable people. If you do not currently have your Level 3 Diploma in a Health and Social Care related subject (or equivalent) you will need to show willingness to undertake it.

Ideally you will have spent time supporting elderly people, either professionally or in your personal life, and therefore have a good understanding of their needs. You will also need good reading and writing skills along with the physical ability to carry out care tasks.
