Senior Care and Support Worker, Haringey

Are you passionate about improving the lives of others?

Metropolitan Housing are looking for a Senior Care and Support Worker paying £17,234 - £18,106 pa to work in Haringey, North London.

The successful candidate will work mostly from the office but will work alone across the borough of Hackney to provide support to vulnerable elderly clients in their own home handling a case load and acting as advocate.

You should demonstrate an ability to work alone and an understanding of the needs of vulnerable people. If you do not currently have your Level 3 Diploma in a Health and Social Care related subject (or equivalent) you will need to show willingness to undertake it.

There are five jobs available at present but this is likely to go up over the next few weeks.

Vacancies at the new Hilton Hotel in Bankside

Our partners EmploySE1 are looking for over thirty Food and Beverage staff to work at the new Hilton Hotel which will open in Bankside.

We're still looking for Ocado Customer Service Drivers

Ocado is moving to a brand new site in Park Royal due to the rapid expansion of their home delivery team. They are looking for drivers who can offer their customers the best service possible.

The pay rates start at £8.37 per hour, rising to £9.57 after 6pm and £10.46 for weekend and £11.96 after 6pm on a Sunday. These are not the only benefits of working for Ocado - they also have a 15% staff discount, private medical insurance, a group personal pension plan, and a bonus scheme of up to £360 per quarter.

Your van will be preloaded and your route planned for you leaving you to concentrate on giving excellent customer service and making sure your customers are away of any problems on route.

For this role you need experience in customer service and no driving disqualifications within the past ten years with no more than three points on your license. You don't need any previous work based driving experience, your customer service skills and experience are key here.

Client Services role, Shoreditch (Young London Working)

Our partners Young London Working are currently recruiting a Client Services professional to work in Shoreditch.

Receptionist, South London housing development

A housing developer is looking for a receptionist to work in a high end development by the Garden Bridge in South London.

This is very much a meeting and greeting role therefore it requires someone with excellent customer service skills. You will also be assisting the project management team with administrative tasks such as printing, taking minutes, and filing. Experience in diary management would be an advantage but not essential as they are happy to train. The organisation are looking to develop their staff therefore there will be scope to move into other roles after a year or so.

Lambeth Working are currently recruiting for a Web and Admin Apprentice to work for a third sector organisation in Brixton.

This will be paid at £7.13 for a 35 hour working week. This will initially be a 12 month contract and will involve travel around the borough of Lambeth.
