Care Workers, London Borough of Barnet

A private care company are looking for Care Assistants to work on a zero hours contract for the following shift patterns:

16 hours pw
24 hours pw
32 hours pw

Monday to Saturday, £6.50 ph
Sunday £7 ph

You will be required to work in the community and deliver care to elderly and disabled people who remain in their own home. No experience necessary as full training will be given (five days unpaid classroom training). Car drivers desirable but not essential.

A Care company working in Brent and Ealing are looking to fill two roles:

Team Leader
Field Care Supervisor

The salary will be £7.50 per hour with £8.00 per hour on Sundays.

You will represent the care company providing an all inclusive range of home care tasks to individuals and families, assisting them to remain in their own homes. You will focus on creating a supportive, homely atmosphere where service users and carers feel they can achieve maximum independance.

Both roles carry the same responsibilities but the team leader will work in the office from time to time completing administration duties.

Wig makers required - are you a hairdresser or weaveologist wanting a change?

A mannequin wholesaler in Park Royal are looking for wig makers to join their team. This involves making heavy duty wigs for shop mannequins by sewing/ glueing fake hair into a sturdy cap, cutting and styling and setting with lacquer.

You don't need previous wig making experience but you do need to have experience with hair dressing, especially with creating and styling hair pieces and weaves.

Valet:

South West Trains, Customer Service roles

Our partners Young London Working are currently looking for Gateline Assistants and Rail Operators to work for South West Trains at Waterloo station. These are customer service roles involving standing on foot and being the face of the company. You will need to be highly professional during extreme weather and at times when significant cancellations and problems arise. Can you demonstrate assertiveness and a highly outgoing personality along with resilience and patience?

The salary is £16000 - £18000 along with £1900 London weighting. Benefits include free travel on South West Trains and a final salary pension.

Successful candidates’ hours will be a mixture of early, late and night shifts, including weekends. Early shifts start at 06:00, lates finish at 23:00. Night shifts are generally 22:00-06:00.

You need to live within up to an hour travel distance from London Waterloo by public transport.

Digital Assistant, Shakespeare's Globe £18,000

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre are recruiting for a Digital Assistant paying £18,000 per year. As part of the Communications Digital team you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the email marketing schedule and campaigns including content for the main website and social media.

Retail Staff needed for Wembley London Designer Outlet

Helly Hansen are currently recuriting for two Retail staff to work in their London Designer Outlet store.

You need to be confident with customers, interested in the outdoors brand and the products sold by Helly Hansen.

Keyholder:
30 contracted hours (almost certainly working more, up to 39 hours per week)
Successful applicants should have at least a year's retail experience, ideally in a supervisory role and will be responsibility for opening and closing the store.

Sales Assistant:
25 contracted hours
Previous retail experience is not necessary if you can demonstrate a genuine interest in outdoor sports and activities.

Trainee Recruitment Consultant jobs available

We are currently on the lookout for Trainee Recruitment Consultants for two separate posts.

The first is for a well established recruitment company based in Bank working 8:30am - 5:30pm. Ideal candidates will be proactive and reactive and have an urgency demonstrated by working well within a sales environment. They will also have the ability to prioritise workload and a desire to succeed.

The second is for a small recruitment agency specialising in the Not for Profit and Charity sectors based in the West End. For this role you will need to demonstrate an interest in these sectors along with experience of meeting and exceeding sales targets. You will also need to be personable and good at negotiating.

Bank Cashier Apprenticeships available

Metrobank are currently recruiting  Apprentices to work as Bank Cashiers in Harrow, Hounslow, and High Street Kensington.

These are customer facing roles that if the candidate works well will turn into longer term jobs within other areas of the Metrobank business on completion of apprenticeship.

The salary will be £17610 paid at 80% for the first six months with four days a week working and one day a week attending training.

To be eligible you need to be between 18 and 23 and live within an hour's travel from the Apprenticeship location. You need a minimum of a grade D in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) and no criminal convictions.
