South West Trains, Customer Service roles

Our partners Young London Working are currently looking for Gateline Assistants and Rail Operators to work for South West Trains at Waterloo station. These are customer service roles involving standing on foot and being the face of the company. You will need to be highly professional during extreme weather and at times when significant cancellations and problems arise. Can you demonstrate assertiveness and a highly outgoing personality along with resilience and patience?

The salary is £16000 - £18000 along with £1900 London weighting. Benefits include free travel on South West Trains and a final salary pension.

Successful candidates’ hours will be a mixture of early, late and night shifts, including weekends. Early shifts start at 06:00, lates finish at 23:00. Night shifts are generally 22:00-06:00.

You need to live within up to an hour travel distance from London Waterloo by public transport.
